Knowing that we can not carry enough water tablets to last any real period of time I started Investigating Portable Water Purification systems.. And This one seems to be the Best..
It removes Bacteria,Viruses and Chemicals not to mention alot more! It claims to be able to clean 13,000 Gallons before needing a filter change (FIlter can be cleaned in the field).

ive been using those for years, pump it straight from the lake into your water bottle. i would never use water tablets anyways when you can boil your water without consuming all those chemicals.
