first months

I think we are not going to be able to gather enough food at first for a while. So I think we need to bring some food with us at first to get us threw.

It might be a good idea to start discussing what food to take.

I'd say, definitely jerky, of any sort. Light weight and packed with protein.

We'll need some fatty substance too, like butter maybe?

This grocery list is something I haven't given much thought to yet. Any other ideas on what to take?

raw nuts, dried fruit just a lil somethin somethin ill do some more reasearch on some good backpacking foods.

you should bring plenty of rice. each of you could carry a considerable amount. that'll last you awhile.
