Well im driving with Chaz to Washington. We'll fly from there to Alaska. I looked it up and a one way flight is like $250. I have been saving all my money and $250 isnt bad of a price for the best thing that will probably ever happen to me. For the gear I was thinking that I will most likely bring the essentials, which im sure I can bring on a plane. The other stuff im sure I can buy in AK. Would be crazy if they didnt have any camping gear in AK, right?

Yeah i guess you are right, i already bought a sleeping bag rated to 0 degrees, it is a little heavy though, 6 lbs

But yeah where were you guys thinking of flying from like in washington? and do you have a date yet?

Now is everyone meeting up in WA to take a plane or just a few of us? Those of us who are can we get a forum going about where we would meet up and flight scheduals
so we know when to leave, because i'll be taking the Grey Hound from Vegas and will need to get all my times calculated.

Also i've been thinking about all the physical stuff we will be doing such as hiking, hunting, setting up camp ect... and I just wanted to make sure that everyon is getting there bodies into shape.... I've been on 20mile death marches when I was in boot camp carrying 60lb packs, not the same kind of hiking we'll be doing but still not just some simple task.

As for the gear, other then clothes, and hygene products what else do you think they would let us take on the plane (tool wise)??

well I think you cab take anything like a gun it just has to be checked
